Sign-Up to Meet With Your Member of Congress

The 748 million people who walk miles each day to access to clean water know that the last mile is always the hardest.  And as their advocates, we know that too.  Before the 113th session of Congress comes to a close, join World Vision advocates around the country in our “last mile” of advocacy for the Water for the World Act this year.

Impact to date:

  • 435 members of the House of Representatives (100%) contacted at least once
  • Influenced 82 of the 96 cosponsors (find out if your representative is one, here)

If your representative is not yet a cosponsor, we urge you to stop by their district office this August while they are on recess, introduce yourself, and deliver a small packet of information about the bill, asking for their support.  Or, schedule a longer meeting with your representative or their staff to share more about why you think this bill is so important.  It’s not as scary as it sounds – they welcome visits from their constituents just like you to discover what issues you care about and how they can best represent you in Congress.

Sign up below for a delivery or a meeting, and we’ll send you a link to all the resources and materials you’ll need.  You can also email questions to

Let’s make this last mile count!
